A story of Rutland's past, present and future inspired by the children who live here.

Choirs from local schools will sing celebratory works, dance groups will interpret key moments in Rutland’s history and Rutland Concert Band will complement these with a diverse musical accompaniment.

The evening will take the audience on a magical tour of Rutland, giving glimpses into past and present events that have helped to shape Rutland into the unique county that exists today. The main focus is the premiere of a specially composed musical work based on poems entitled Multum In Parvo that have been written by local school children. The concert finale will be a collaborative performance of this work, incorporating all performers, in a celebration of Rutland.
