Funders
Arts for Rutland has two critical sources of support financial and human, both are essential to deliver our Objectives:
Financial Support
The primary financial support has come from the Arts Council with a grant of £100,000 under the NI11 programme.
The other major contributor is Rutland County Council again with its support for NI11.
The Council has been working hard in recent years to increase support for Culture and the arts within the County.
Rutland County Council with its partners are the only area in the East Midlands to have incorporate all of the Culture NI’s into the Local Area Agreement. They believe this demonstrates a significant level of commitment.
In support of this Arts Council funded project, Rutland County Council is committed to the following: match funding paid direct to Arts for Rutland, on-going support for Live@ the Museum and Castle, staff resources, including communications and marketing, to support the delivery of all events, total support £70,000.
Human Resources
The main contributors of human resources are the following:
Oakham Festival, Catmose College, Music in Lyddington, RATS,
Rutland Open Studios and sallyroserenner.co.uk
Partners
Our other key partners are Oakham School, Uppingham School and Uppingham Concerts, who arrange a considerable number of artistic events during the year that are open to the public, and which greatly enhance and enrich the cultural life of the county. They have both also been extremely supportive of the delivery of this Arts Council funded project.
