A 19th-century operatic fantasy

Cellist Joseph Spooner’s work as a soloist, chamber musician and recording artist has taken him across the UK, France, the Netherlands and Russia. His work with various contemporary music ensembles has included performances at major festivals and broadcasts on BBC Radio and Channel 4. Future plans include a series of chamber concerts in New York. Joseph plays a Nicholas Vuillaume cello of c.1865.

Nicholas Bosworth needs no introduction to Opera Minima audiences. His “superb piano accompaniment deftly [evoking] the sumptuousness of the orchestral score” has often prompted them to request a recital. They will be delighted with this collaboration with Joseph Spooner.
