Part of Opera Minima’s “SUMMER MUSIC FESTIVAL”.

A great favourite with Opera Minima audiences, Susan performs a wide variety of roles for the company and runs its school and community workshops. Most recently she directed her first opera, Trial by Jury, to great acclaim. Her rich mezzo-contralto is particularly suited to the music sung by Kathleen Ferrier, whose centenary is the inspiration for this recital.

South African born Njabulo is a rising star of the opera world, having won the prestigious Kathleen Ferrier Prize in 2010. Last year he sang Scarpia (Tosca) for Grange Park Opera at Nevill Holt and this year will appear at the Buxton Festival in recital and in the opera Intermezzo by Richard Strauss
